Unhealed wound The memorial service was held on April 3 to mark the 71 st anniversary of the Cheju popular uprising. The Cheju popular uprising originated to oppose “separate election” fabricated by the US and Syngman Rhee clique and colonial domination of the US over south Korea and to demand the establishment of a unified government of Korea.
