A nationwide action against Japan’s economic invasion is taking place across south Korea ahead of the 74th anniversary of Korea’s liberation.  A candlelight rally criticizing Japan took place under the sponsorship of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions and the People’s Action against Abe in Seoul on August 15. On August 25th, 1969 a group of patriots and anti-imperialist resistance fighters in south Korea decided to establish a political force devoted to the reunification of Korea and the democratization of south Korea, this movement became to be known as The Revolutionary Party of Reunification. Adventurous war game The United States and south Korean authorities have finally started the joint military exercise targeting the DPRK. The first joint military exercise "Focus Lens" was conducted in south Korea in 1954, the year after the conclusion of the Armistice Agreement. Early in July, south Korean people’s anti-Japanese feeling is spreading as Japan removed south Korea from white list. Members of the People’s Action against Abe called a news conference in front of the Japanese embassy in Seoul on August 2 to denounce Japan which passed a bill removing south Korea from the white list, chanting slogans against Japan. The US and south Korea have staged joint military exercise "Alliance 19-2" against the DPRK in August. The US is claiming the exercise is a simulation to verify the capacity of the south Korean army for taking over wartime operations.
