  The Korean Confederation of Trade Unions and the progressive parties had a news conference to demand politics for the people's living. They declared that they will punish the two parties which are engrossed in only power heedless of destitution of people's livelihood. They hardened their determination to wage a dynamic action for the reform of election system and politics taking care of public welfare. Meanwhile, the workers of public transport urged the south Korean authorities to stop restructuring of public institutions. If new government pushes ahead the restructuring of public institutions and marketing policy it would face with a serious resistance from the first stage of power, they noted. In condemnation of south Korea-US-Japan military alliance   Some days ago, the Daejeon Headquarters of South Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration held a press conference on the occasion of 4th anniversary of publication of the April 27 Panmunjeom Declaration before the gate of the Daejoen municipal office. Yoon Suk-yeol claimed south Korea-US nexus, preemptive strike on north Korea and additional deployment of THAAD during his days of presidential candidate. The participants sharply assailed Yoon who has been engrossed in sycophantic diplomacy with Washington and Tokyo, holding inter-Korean ties in little account, when he won the presidency. They strongly urged Yoon to give up submissive attitude toward the US and Japan and make endeavor to implement inter-Korean agreements instead of tightening the tripartite alliance with the US and Japan. Humiliating diplomacy poses only a threat to the lives of the people, peace and security, they added.      

  On January 27, 2016 the respected Comrade  Kim Jong Un  visited the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill. He made the rounds of several places of the mill before stopping at a barotor machine in the processing workshop. The machine, which was developed by teachers and researchers of Pyongyang Han Tok Su University of Light Industry, consumed much less dyeing liquid and water than earlier machines, so its energy consumption was considerably small with far less effluent coming from dyeing. And it was possible to put a roll of cloth into the machine as a whole, thus it could save cloth by 20% while further increasing productivity.
