South Korean people of various strata are giving full support to the September inter-Korean summit and Pyongyang joint declaration. According to a recent survey conducted by KBS, 83.4 percent people said that the September inter-Korean summit proved successful. Oppose deployment of THAAD! On September 6, south Korean civic organizations held a press conference in front of the Blue House to demand the withdrawal of THAAD deployment, marking the first year of its deployment. THAAD is a part of weapon of the missile defense system of the US introduced by the south Korea to contain China and Russia, the civic bodies including the Action for Checking THAAD Deployment said.
