Pyongyang, June 14 (KCNA) -- The Central Election Guidance Committee for the election of deputies to provincial (municipality), city (district) and county people's assemblies was organized in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. On June 1,  the North Chella Provincial Headquarters of the South Side Committee for Implementing June 15 Joint Declaration sponsored a marathon for reunification to mark the 19 th  anniversary of the publication of the June 15 joint Declaration in Cheonju.      It is sure that only when the people pool their efforts can a new era be opened through implementation of inter-Korean declaration, the representative of the North Chella Provincial Headquarters of the South Side Committee for Implementing June 15 Joint Declaration said. Members of civic organizations called a press conference on May 14 in Gwangju to strongly reprimand the Liberty Korea Party which puts brake to investigation into those responsible for massacre of the Gwangju uprising and interrupts the institution of a "law on punishment of those distorting the history of the May 18 popular uprising".
