Chief of Pyongyang Mission of AINDF Vows to Thoroughly Implement June 15 Joint Declaration
Pyongyang, June 15 (KCNA) -- Pak Su Chol, chief of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front (AINDF), issued a statement on Saturday, the 19th anniversary of publication of the June 15 joint declaration.
The statement said that the historic Pyongyang summit meeting and publication of the June 15 joint declaration provided by Chairman Kim Jong Il 19 years ago were a great event which made a breakthrough in the national division that has lasted for decades and thus ushered in a rosy future of independent reunification.
It noted that true to the sacred intentions of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il of the National Defence Commission who made great devotion and efforts to present a reunified country to the fellow countrymen, Kim Jong Un, chairman of the State Affairs Commission, is wisely leading the struggle of the fellow countrymen to bring about a radical turn in accomplishing the cause of national reunification.
It said however, the south Korean conservative forces are resorting to all sorts of moves to bring back the past confrontation era, abusing the inter-Korean declarations as "humiliating documents" and "documents benefiting the enemy", opposed to the nation's aspiration and the unanimous expectation of the international community.
It pointed out that the popular masses in the south will all turn out in the campaign for ushering in a new era of peace and co-prosperity, true to Kim Jong Un's idea and line of independent reunification, being convinced that the behests of Kim Jong Il for national reunification will surely be translated into reality by Kim Jong Un.
AINDF, together with all the south Korean people of various circles, will all turn out in the struggle for implementing the historic south-north joint declarations shining with the undying exploits of the peerlessly great men and reflecting the general will of all Koreans and thus surely bring peace, prosperity and independent reunification to this land, the statement stressed. -0-
