Commentary of AINDF Spokesman- on south Korea- Japan relations
Commentary of AINDF Spokesman
Recently, the south Korean authorities are busy with their efforts to lift the south Korea-Japan relations from a stalemate. The south Korean authorities have taken a brownnosing attitude to Japan, while saying “great attachment to relations”, “an important neighbor” and “an uninterrupted efforts for fence-mending”. One year-long frayed high-ranking dialogue channel has been reinvigorated and they have exchanged information about north Korea under the signboard of the general security of military intelligence agreement (GSOMIA) with Japan. The south Korean diplomatic authorities have exerted their efforts to improve bilateral relations, making a litany of such assertions solution through diplomacy and expectation of cooperation. The sign of mending bilateral relations is the pro-Japanese subservient behavior running counter the anti-Japanese feeling of the Korean nation. It is an open secret that the Japanese reactionaries have denied their terrible atrocities against the Korean nation, on the contrary, embellished their crime-ridden past. Japan is getting vocal about strike on bases of the enemy. It is no exaggeration to say that Japan’s ambition for militarism and reinvasion of Korea entered the practical phase. Japan’s waywardness prompts anger from the Korean nation. It is thunderstruck that the south Korean authorities show willingness to compromise with Japan reluctant to make apology and reparation, conniving at Japan’s impudence. Japan has been violent toward the weak and subservient to the strong. It is a nature peculiar to Japan The south Korean authorities’ servility to Japan would precipitate greater humiliation, indignity and a new national ruin. The south Korean people cannot follow in the footsteps of the last century. South Korean people of various circles should fight against ever-increasing Japan’s high-handedness and sternly punish the traitors to the nation who are going to betray the dignity and interests of the nation.
