Broad segments of south Korean people flailed Japan’s barbarous colonial rule over Korea in the past on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Korea’s liberation.  

Civil organizations in North Jeolla Province called a news conference in memory of victims of “Comfort Women for Japanese Imperial Army” at a plaza.


 

 We are on tiptoe of expectation for genuine liberation though seventy-five years have passed since Korea’s liberation. We will make every endeavor to hasten the day when the truth, human rights and peace are ensured. Mental injury can never barter for a petty amount of money. Only sincere apology and reflection heal it, they said.



 After the end of news conference, they hardened their determination to fulfill their demand, while enrolling names of the victim on the list.

A mass rally held

     South Korean laborers held a large scale rally against Yoon Suk-yeol in Seoul. The National Meeting of Workers 2023 involving 110,000 laborers appealed for a nationwide campaign to disband the People's Power Party and to get the Yoon regime withdrawn for dismantling the trade unions, driving many laborers to death, and destroying happiness of families. The participants vehemently accused the Yoon regime of escalating oppression upon the trade union. They raised their voices critical of the Yoon clique, demanding the abolition of retrogressive labor law.     Demolish the retrogressive labor law!     Let us smash Yoon's repressive measure of laborers and safeguard rights to subsistence!     Opposition to retrogressive revision of the labor law killing workers!     Topple Yoon destroying agriculture and slaughtering peasants!         People have turned their back on Yoon Suk-yeol!

The British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula which was set up by KFA UK in 2017 by KFA UK to campaign for peace and reunification on the Korean peninsula is dissolved with immediate effect .  We believe that it peaceful reunification of the Korean peninsula is no longer possible due to the reactionary and expansionist moves of the fascist comprador regime in south Korea which respected Marshal KIM JONG UN rightly described as a "mutation " .
