Inauguration of the National Action


 

Of late, the People’s Joint Action held a press conference to rename the People’s Joint Action to National Action.

The People’s Joint Action which succeeded to the People’s Movement Headquarters in the days of candlelight resistance is inaugurated as the National Action, the National Action declared at the press conference.

We will wage an unyielding struggle against those who deceived south Koreans and betrayed the spirit of the candlelight resistance by dint of general strike of the workers, and by concerted efforts of the peasants and the poor. We will make stubborn action to attain the right to live, justice, peace and prosperity, it pointed out at the press conference.

They shouted slogans “Let’s totally abolish the National Security Law through massive turnout of the people” and “Let’s transform the society by struggle of the south Korean people”.

A mass rally held

     South Korean laborers held a large scale rally against Yoon Suk-yeol in Seoul. The National Meeting of Workers 2023 involving 110,000 laborers appealed for a nationwide campaign to disband the People's Power Party and to get the Yoon regime withdrawn for dismantling the trade unions, driving many laborers to death, and destroying happiness of families. The participants vehemently accused the Yoon regime of escalating oppression upon the trade union. They raised their voices critical of the Yoon clique, demanding the abolition of retrogressive labor law.     Demolish the retrogressive labor law!     Let us smash Yoon's repressive measure of laborers and safeguard rights to subsistence!     Opposition to retrogressive revision of the labor law killing workers!     Topple Yoon destroying agriculture and slaughtering peasants!         People have turned their back on Yoon Suk-yeol!

Special Announcement -Dissolution of the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula

The British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula which was set up by KFA UK in 2017 by KFA UK to campaign for peace and reunification on the Korean peninsula is dissolved with immediate effect .  We believe that it peaceful reunification of the Korean peninsula is no longer possible due to the reactionary and expansionist moves of the fascist comprador regime in south Korea which respected Marshal KIM JONG UN rightly described as a "mutation " .
