British Solidarity Committee for Korea's Peace, Reunification Formed
Pyongyang, June 28 (KCNA) -- A British solidarity committee for peace and reunification of the Korean Peninsula was formed on June 15.
Dermot Hudson, chairman of the Korean Friendship Association UK, was elected chairman of the committee, and its action program was announced.
The program calls for stop to the war maneuvers ratcheting up the situation on the Korean peninsula, withdrawal of the U.S. troops from south Korea, conclusion of DPRK-U.S. peace accord, support to the struggle of the whole Korean nation in the north and the south and abroad for national reunification and the struggle of the south Korean people for democracy of the society and strengthened solidarity with the progressive political parties and social organizations the world over. -0
