World Peace-loving People Called to Join in Creating Climate for Korea's Reunification


Pyongyang, February 2 (KCNA) -- The Congolese Association for Friendship among Peoples issued an appeal to the world peace-loving people on Jan. 22 in support of the independent reunification of Korea.
The year 2018 is a significant year marking the 70th birthday of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the great feat and legacy of immortal President Kim Il Sung, the appeal said, expressing support for the occasions created for improving the inter-Korean relations thanks to the noble love for the nation and the peace-loving will of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, the great guardian of peace and justice.
It noted that since its founding, the DPRK has made efforts for its independent development and the peace and security of the Korean Peninsula. It called upon the world peace-loving people to actively join in creating the climate for the improved inter-Korean ties and the independent reunification of Korea. -0-

A mass rally held

     South Korean laborers held a large scale rally against Yoon Suk-yeol in Seoul. The National Meeting of Workers 2023 involving 110,000 laborers appealed for a nationwide campaign to disband the People's Power Party and to get the Yoon regime withdrawn for dismantling the trade unions, driving many laborers to death, and destroying happiness of families. The participants vehemently accused the Yoon regime of escalating oppression upon the trade union. The British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula which was set up by KFA UK in 2017 by KFA UK to campaign for peace and reunification on the Korean peninsula is dissolved with immediate effect .  We believe that it peaceful reunification of the Korean peninsula is no longer possible due to the reactionary and expansionist moves of the fascist comprador regime in south Korea which respected Marshal KIM JONG UN rightly described as a "mutation " .
