Thoroughgoing implementation of the Panmunjeom Declaration
Now south Korean people of different strata are launching various drive to support the Panmunjeom Declaration and implement it.
Several organizations including the South Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration and the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions expressed their will to conduct vigorous actions to implement the Panmunjeom Declaration.
Some days ago, the Daejeon Headquarters of the South Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration held a press conference to renew its determination to implement the Panmunjeom Declaration, while saying the Panmunjeom Declaration is a historic one that reflects the July 4 Joint Statement, the June 15 Joint Declaration and the October 4 Declaration.
The Ulsan Headquarters revealed its intention in a news conference to take the lead in implementing the Panmunjeom Declaration, asserting that it would foil vicious move of the Liberty Korea Party which is making frantic attempt to defame the April 27 Declaration.
A pro-reunification group called press conference to express its will to wage a dynamic action to implement the April 27 Declaration, noting that whenever hurdles and difficulties lie in the way of implementing the Panmunjeom Declaration, no difficulties are insurmountable when the south and the north of Korea join hands.
A personage of the KCTU said with emotion that inter-Korean summit and the adoption of the April 27 Declaration are an event of historic significance.
By implementing the April 27 Declaration, the south and the north of Korea should promote co-prosperity in broad fields and bring earlier peace and reunification, he added.
The broad spectrum of south Korean people are carrying on their action to support inter-Korean summit and the April 27 Declaration and implement it. It is their ardent desire and reflection of their inflexible will to bring earlier a new spring of independent reunification true to intention of Chairman Kim Jong Un of the DPRK State Affairs.
