In demand of removal of privilege

  


 

A civil organization of south Korea called a news conference outside the Supreme Public Prosecutor’s Office on Nov. 3 to strongly demand withdrawal of the privilege of the prosecution.





The prosecution with the right to investigation and indictment has exercised almighty influence. It has exerted its power to keep dictatorial regime. It is wielding sword to protect conservatism and themselves, the participants noted.    

Excessive privilege and practice of the prosecution made it a group which dominates the masses. The privilege of the prosecution should be removed as soon as possible, they stated.

After the end of the news conference, the organization handed a protest letter to the Supreme Public Prosecutor’s Office.

A mass rally held

     South Korean laborers held a large scale rally against Yoon Suk-yeol in Seoul. The National Meeting of Workers 2023 involving 110,000 laborers appealed for a nationwide campaign to disband the People's Power Party and to get the Yoon regime withdrawn for dismantling the trade unions, driving many laborers to death, and destroying happiness of families. The participants vehemently accused the Yoon regime of escalating oppression upon the trade union. They raised their voices critical of the Yoon clique, demanding the abolition of retrogressive labor law.     Demolish the retrogressive labor law!     Let us smash Yoon's repressive measure of laborers and safeguard rights to subsistence!     Opposition to retrogressive revision of the labor law killing workers!     Topple Yoon destroying agriculture and slaughtering peasants!         People have turned their back on Yoon Suk-yeol!
