An attempt pregnant with dangerous consequences


 

South Korean media outlets and analysts build up negative public opinions and views on south Korea’s entry into the Quad.  

The US has openly exerted pressure upon south Korea to join the Quad, an anti-China group, the mass outlets said. They are apprehensive of south Korea’s move to participate in the Quad.   

Submission to the US pressure leads south Korea to be a dependency and becoming a scapegoat of a power, the mass outlets commented.

South Korea’s entry into the Quad would precipitate a catastrophic result, it is beyond conception, it is a dangerous bid that would aggravate the situation of the Korean Peninsula and invite a new cold war, they said. It is clear that south Korea reads the faces of big powers, sandwiched among them.

A mass rally held

     South Korean laborers held a large scale rally against Yoon Suk-yeol in Seoul. The National Meeting of Workers 2023 involving 110,000 laborers appealed for a nationwide campaign to disband the People's Power Party and to get the Yoon regime withdrawn for dismantling the trade unions, driving many laborers to death, and destroying happiness of families. The participants vehemently accused the Yoon regime of escalating oppression upon the trade union. They raised their voices critical of the Yoon clique, demanding the abolition of retrogressive labor law.     Demolish the retrogressive labor law!     Let us smash Yoon's repressive measure of laborers and safeguard rights to subsistence!     Opposition to retrogressive revision of the labor law killing workers!     Topple Yoon destroying agriculture and slaughtering peasants!         People have turned their back on Yoon Suk-yeol!
