Against introduction of construction materials


On June 8, the Ministry of National Defense and the US troops in south Korea introduced construction materials for THAAD base in Seongju, north Gyeongsang Province.

Residents in Soseong-ri and more than eighty members of civil organization against THAAD asserted that deployment of THAAD generates the danger of war on the Korean Peninsula and staged a sit-down strike on the road outside the village hall.

They strongly urged the US force and the south Korean military authorities to immediately withdraw THAAD, shouting slogans “Go THAAD, come peace”, “Stop construction of the base” and “Withdraw THAAD”.

A mass rally held

     South Korean laborers held a large scale rally against Yoon Suk-yeol in Seoul. The National Meeting of Workers 2023 involving 110,000 laborers appealed for a nationwide campaign to disband the People's Power Party and to get the Yoon regime withdrawn for dismantling the trade unions, driving many laborers to death, and destroying happiness of families. The participants vehemently accused the Yoon regime of escalating oppression upon the trade union. They raised their voices critical of the Yoon clique, demanding the abolition of retrogressive labor law.     Demolish the retrogressive labor law!     Let us smash Yoon's repressive measure of laborers and safeguard rights to subsistence!     Opposition to retrogressive revision of the labor law killing workers!     Topple Yoon destroying agriculture and slaughtering peasants!         People have turned their back on Yoon Suk-yeol!

Special Announcement -Dissolution of the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula

The British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula which was set up by KFA UK in 2017 by KFA UK to campaign for peace and reunification on the Korean peninsula is dissolved with immediate effect .  We believe that it peaceful reunification of the Korean peninsula is no longer possible due to the reactionary and expansionist moves of the fascist comprador regime in south Korea which respected Marshal KIM JONG UN rightly described as a "mutation " .
