Demonstration in Wednesday


 

A few days ago, 1500th Wednesday demonstration was held outside the old Japanese embassy in Seoul to condemn sexual crimes committed by the Japanese army during the World War Ⅱ.

1565 members of anti-Japanese organizations from over ten countries including south Korea, Japan, US, Canada, Germany, France and Indonesia took part in in the demonstration.

 

 


 

They mentioned in the statement that it is the longest demonstration, the saddest and the proudest one in the world which were held on 1500 occasions. They strongly demanded Japan’s admission of war crimes, a thoroughgoing investigation into issue of sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army, an official apology and legal compensation for the sexual slavery victims and strict punishment of those who are responsible for it.

A mass rally held

     South Korean laborers held a large scale rally against Yoon Suk-yeol in Seoul. The National Meeting of Workers 2023 involving 110,000 laborers appealed for a nationwide campaign to disband the People's Power Party and to get the Yoon regime withdrawn for dismantling the trade unions, driving many laborers to death, and destroying happiness of families. The participants vehemently accused the Yoon regime of escalating oppression upon the trade union. They raised their voices critical of the Yoon clique, demanding the abolition of retrogressive labor law.     Demolish the retrogressive labor law!     Let us smash Yoon's repressive measure of laborers and safeguard rights to subsistence!     Opposition to retrogressive revision of the labor law killing workers!     Topple Yoon destroying agriculture and slaughtering peasants!         People have turned their back on Yoon Suk-yeol!

Special Announcement -Dissolution of the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula
