Unchanged US hostile policy toward north Korea


 

Of late, south Korean mass outlets and experts in north Korean affairs comment in their own way the source and background of the deadlocked DPRK-US ties.

The DPRK makes no response to Washington’s request because the US administration’s hostile policy toward the DPRK remains unchanged, Washington’s policy sticks to strategic patience of the Obama administration, they analyzed.    

Given that the US prefers showdown with the DPRK to dialogue, it is clear that the DPRK would not comply with the US request. The US has claimed it would not hold dialogue for only dialogue’s sake. The DPRK pointed out that option is not a monopoly of the US, they noted.

A mass rally held

     South Korean laborers held a large scale rally against Yoon Suk-yeol in Seoul. The National Meeting of Workers 2023 involving 110,000 laborers appealed for a nationwide campaign to disband the People's Power Party and to get the Yoon regime withdrawn for dismantling the trade unions, driving many laborers to death, and destroying happiness of families. The participants vehemently accused the Yoon regime of escalating oppression upon the trade union. Special Announcement -Dissolution of the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula
