Unchanged US hostile policy toward north Korea
Of late, south Korean mass outlets and experts in north Korean affairs comment in their own way the source and background of the deadlocked DPRK-US ties. The DPRK makes no response to Washington’s request because the US administration’s hostile policy toward the DPRK remains unchanged, Washington’s policy sticks to strategic patience of the Obama administration, they analyzed. Given that the US prefers showdown with the DPRK to dialogue, it is clear that the DPRK would not comply with the US request. The US has claimed it would not hold dialogue for only dialogue’s sake. The DPRK pointed out that option is not a monopoly of the US, they noted. |
