Historic year with great national prestige

Historic year with great national prestige         2022 was the year of miracle and change in which the national prestige of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea rose suddenly as never before. Last year, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un put the national power of the DPRK on the highest level with his sagacious guidance and rare political caliber and world-startling events were performed in numbers and in succession in extreme difficulties. A national meeting and public procession of Pyongyang citizens in celebration of the 110th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, a national meeting to mark the 80th birthday of Chairman Kim Jong Il, military parade celebrating the 90th founding anniversary of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army, functions in celebration of the 69th anniversary of victory in the Fatherland Liberation War and the 74th birthday of the DPRK substantiated that history of the sun is given a steady continuity by Kim Jong Un, the incarnation of noble moral obligation. The law of the DPRK's policy on the nuclear forces was adopted at the 7th Session of the 14th Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK for the first time in the world, thus the DPRK became an irreversible nuclear power worthy of the name. Kim Jong Un illuminated correct guidelines to enhance militant efficiency of the Workers' Party of Korea through historic works including a commemorative lecture given at the Central Cadres Training School of the WPK and wisely led the WPK to serve for the good of the people. He, who provided a sure guarantee for fulfillment of the five-year plan and unfolded a grand blueprint for development of the country and people's wellbeing, marshaled the people for the struggle to achieve overall development of socialism with his tireless field guidance. The DPRK has built many edifices of civilization typifying the era of Kim Jong Un without any standstill or stagnation in the face of great turmoil after the DPRK's foundation, stubborn offensive of the hostile forces and performed eye-opening events for the people.    Signal changes of Songsin and Songhwa regions, epoch-making change of Kyongru-dong, Ryongpo greenhouses rare to be found in the world, farm machines operating in the fields of South Hwanghae Province, buildings for the people sprang up across the country, bright appearances of children and removal to new houses: these are the epitome of development and entity of appreciable change of the DPRK. It maintained tranquility for over two years by hardening the barrier to COVID-19 since the beginning of outbreak of worldwide pandemic. It restored peace in the DPRK after 90-odd days campaign against the disease to turn the DPRK clean without virus. It was the great victory that could be achieved only in the DPRK.      Kim Jong Un, the defender of independence and justice, smashed unheard-of showdown and war maneuvers of the US and its vassal forces against the DPRK with a series of launch of Juche shells and the toughest offensive last year. He safeguarded peace and security of the Korean Peninsula and regions to make a new era of history with the DPRK as its axis. The imperishable achievements made by Kim Jong Un, who adorned the year 2022 as the year of the DPRK with his distinguished idea, matchless pluck and judicious leadership, will last forever along with the national history.
